Director of Youth Ministry: Michelle Albert

My name is Michelle Albert and I am the Director of Youth Ministry. I am married to Richard and we have four children: Lindsay, Tyler, Trevor, and Trey. I grew up in Hawkeye, a small town in Northeast Iowa. I attended Hamilton Business College in Mason City with a major in Administrative Accounting. I then attended Upper Iowa University in Fayette, where I met Richard, and majored in Business Education, K-12 Physical Education, and K-12 Athletic Coach. Since then, I have received endorsements for 5-8 Middle School and 5-12 Mathematics.
When Pastor Mark announced the job opening for Director of Youth Ministry, I felt an instant calling from God. With lots of prayers and tears, I decided to resign as a teacher at Cardinal and pursue my spiritual calling of teaching children and developing curriculum at Living Hope. For over 20 years, I have been a servant in various children's and youth ministries including Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School director, Awana and Youth leader. I don't know of any better job than to be given the opportunity to make a positive influence in the lives of young people and to help them learn how to build a strong spiritual relationship with the Lord.
